Execution exposes weak ideas quickly
A short business note by Sami Omari on why real execution is the fastest test of whether an idea actually works.
Ideas are easy to like when they only exist in your head. The moment you have to price the product, source it, deliver it, deal with customers and make the numbers work, the idea becomes much more honest.
Reality is useful feedback.
That is not a bad thing. Execution shows where the weak points are. Maybe demand is lower than expected. Maybe the margin is too small. Maybe the process is too complicated. Finding that out early is valuable.
Build, observe, improve.
The aim is not to fall in love with the first version of an idea. It is to understand what the market and the operation are telling you, then improve the parts that matter. Practical experience turns opinions into evidence.
